65 % of the human body is formed  by water and in jellyfish this percentage rises until 99%.   Some parts of the body are more hydrated than others. In vertebrates, skeleton is the part of the body with less presence of water, the same happens with the external skeleton of invertebrates, and with wood and other ligneous components of plants. Generally, the hardest , strongest and most enduring parts of the organisms are those with less  presence of water.
